Tasteful Thinking is…
A Digital Marketing Company that specialises in helping hospitality businesses and food brands with content, tactics, and support to boost their brand awareness and online strategies. This butterfly business* was founded by Sinéad Reil in 2021. Sinéad has been flying the food flag for quite sometime, she holds a Masters in Gastronomy & Food Studies. Her main interests include food and beverage culture, history, gastro tourism and digital marketing.
Sinéad has a degree in Media Management and was also awarded a distinction in Digital Marketing from the Marketing Institute of Ireland and D.I.T., after developing a strategic plan for Dublin retail organisation, Nutgrove Shopping Centre. She produced digital content for this company for nearly four years and more recently for an established craft Drinks Brand and a Waterford Tourist Information Agency.

Writing & Research
As an Independent Researcher, Sinéad had an article published in an American Academic Journal, Food, Culture & Society in 2024, titled ‘Foodism in Ireland’. She presented this at an International Food Conference in France later that year. You can view this open access article here.
Furthermore, she writes feature articles, reviews, and interviews for Tasteful Thinking’s Food Blog To date a number of local and national food business entrepreneurs have taken part in the ‘Faces of Food’ Interview Series which she posts on the company’s site. Experience a Tour
Recently, Sinéad has developed two tourism offerings under the Tasteful Thinking umbrella called Tasteful Tours. These food-focused experiences are; a tri-weekly food heritage tour and a monthly pub culture tour. Both experiences take place in Waterford City. Learn more about these here.
