Added to the Tasteful Thinking offering are two tourism experiences; a food tour and a heritage pub tour. The Tasteful Tour is a wonderful, sustainable, daytime walking food tour based in Waterford City Centre. Sinéad guides the tour herself and on it, she’ll fill you in on Waterford’s interesting food culture and lengthy history while introducing you to some of the city’s fab cafés and gastro-bars. Raise A Glass – pub tour

Plus, we now run a monthly pub culture and heritage trail called Raise a Glass (<<< click here for details) On this tour we celebrate some of the best loved heritage bars in Waterford City, we talk about their history, built heritage and we’ll share publore and more! Drinks x 3/ per person are included in ticket price. Over 18s only!

Global Taste Trail – gets it first outing!

Finally, this Autumn we were lucky enough to lead the inaugural Global Taste Trail during the Waterford Harvest Festival. This should be running again next year so be sure to checkout their website for event listings in 2027. Sinead is such a well informed tour guide and we got to know the history of Waterford through engaging in the topic of food. We visited three fabulous eateries, the quality of the food and the hospitality shown to us was second to none. To find out where we went, you will just have to do the tour yourself. Sinéad was really knowledgeable and brought us to some great traditional pubs, including ones that make their own whiskey. Her stories made the experience fun and interesting. The food was all good but my favourite was the breakfast Waterford Blaa. The retailers we met along the way had lots of stories to share.
