RAISE A GLASS is a cultural tour of some of Waterford City’s beloved heritage bars. It’s a drinking, thinking, talking, walking, and toasting tour. You’ll meet your guide Sinéad at a prominent plaza setting on the quayside and then we’ll meander to lively local establishments, each stop has their own unique histories and quirks. Along the way, we’ll pause and note other prominent hospitality heritage spots.

This tour explores the heritage, history, and social stories behind some of the city’s finest public houses. We’ll discuss Irish Pub Culture, past and present. And together we’ll do our best to figure out what the future holds for the Irish ‘Wet’ Pub; is it a story of a glass-half-full or half-empty?
